Having recently popped up on Room Service Recordings alongside Big J, Baltimore-raised Taiwanese American Jialing returns to Clasico alongside Bay Area producer FARSIGHT. Jialing's roots in Baltimore club culture come through loud and clear on 'Whistle Tip', a brilliantly bouncy and percussive slab of energy-packed, sweat-soaked peak-time heat smothered in whistle sounds and echo-laden drum edits. FARSIGHT provides his own high-octane 'flip', raising the tempo to 143 BPM while breaking up the beats and adding a frankly filthy, sub-heavy bassline. Elsewhere, 'Twister' joins the dots between B-More Club, bleep and contemporary UK bass, while 'Slam City' is a twitchy slab of cut-up breakbeat hardcore revivalism.Get new release alerts
