Review
It's nice to see "The End", one of the undisputed highlights from Hot Since '82's 2013 debut album Little Black Book, getting a deserved single release. Produced with Italian house legend J T. Vanelli (and featuring the latter's regular vocalist Csilla), it laces sumptuous strings and dreamy freestyle vocals over a chunky, hypnotic, late night rhythm. Here, the excellent original is joining by a brace of new remixes. Sabb gets out the bongos and beefs up the low-end groove, making superb use of the intoxicating strings and Csilla's heady wailing. Richie G, on the other hand, adds a little garage flavour while retaining the tech-tinged late night feel of Hot Since 82's original version.Get new release alerts
