Review

Probably still smarting from having accidentally killed Peaches' last tune of her set at Lovebox ("Fuck The Pain Away" no less), Joe & Will Ask return with this new pearl on Deadly People - the huge electro-tech of "Let's Risk It". After an enormous build, MC Kinky's verses drop over a steadily pitch-climbing synth motif and the tune slots into place perfectly. Bowski drops a Trax-informed belter of a mix, which slowly mutates its acid-bleeps into gorgeous chiming vibraphone sounds. Vikings also drop a deep and dubby mix to round off another very strong release from the London duo.
