Entire Release:

Throughout the last decade, Cork's John Daly put out a steady stream of releases, earning rave reviews in the process. He's been surprisingly quiet of late though, with this outing on Clone Royal Oak marking his first solo missive five years. 'I Get So High' sees the Irishman wrap extended sax solos around a tactile Italo-house bassline and a deliciously dreamy deep house groove, while the 'AM Mix' pushes the dewy-eyed female vocal and the deeper elements to the fore. 'Two Days', meanwhile, is a slower and even dreamier chunk of loved-up deep house nostalgia. Clone boss Serge and long-time pal Alden Tyrell push the tempo up a little and dial-up the early morning Rotterdam basement vibes on their superb accompanying remix.
