Vienna-based Brazilian Joyce Muniz returns to 20:20 Vision for the first time since 2012 with "Soundomatic", a warm and fluid trip into late night deep house territory. Blessed with toasty chords, cut-up vocal samples, nagging sub, crunchy beats and a whisper of acid freakery, "Soundomatic" harks back to the halcyon days of house while sounding impressively fresh. Rising star Kyodai remixes, giving Muniz's original a more organic flavour thanks to some lush Rhodes keys and heady, Larry Heard-influenced electronics. Also included are two decent bonus cuts; the rave-era bagginess of "Brightness" and "Back To Back", a wide-eyed chunk of new age-influenced Balearic deep house.
