Review
The title track to Kenny Beeper's Crown Jewel's EP is a good taste of what's to come. Infectious, flute-based funk rolles down into hip-hop influenced movement that's eclectic yet solid. 'Funky Party People' takes things in a more distinctly funk direction, composed of 80s-esque synths that'll almost force you to get moving, tinged with an acid house influence that injects an element of edge - just ridiculously happy. Finally, 'Let's Get It', which has a mellow, subtle introduction that doesn't stop it from quickly becoming a riot with yet more heavy-weight synths that'll delight the outspoken.
