KMLN (Kameleon) are an Italian-Canadian duo, formed in Berlin but now based in Los Angeles and appearing on fellow Los Angeleno Sabo's Sol Selectas imprint. The exotic "Alhambra" will appeal to Crosstown Rebels fans with its exotic instrumentation over deep atmospheric tech house vibes. "Walam" continues on its venture deep into the exotic using arabic vocals and more exotic instrumentation over a sultry deep house groove. Berlin tech house hero Nico Stojan steps in to do two remixes of "Alhambra" that nail that Kater Blau vibe. How could they not, after all: he's a resident there! The "Going To Japan" remix keeps it deep and retains the shaman in the desert style vibes of the original, but the "122 Rework" makes it more up tempo and dare we say, progressive.
