United States-based producer Kokanshu makes glitchy, abstract and occasionally surprisingly melodic electronica inspired by paranoid dreams of technological Armageddon. This first expansive full length for Binalog Productions features tracks from two previously self-released sets, Grabbing Pixels and Tiny Parachutes. Amongst the Aphex Twin-ish glitchery (see the skittish, casually melodic "Warm & Fuzzy on Lake Sammamish") and Autechre style industrial IDM, you'll find the odd chunk of cascading ambience and hard-as-nails electro. For the most part, though, Tiny Pixels is discordant and other wordly - a dreamy, occasionally nightmarish trip into the far reaches of electronic music.
