Swiss duo KonfrontAudio return to Soul Deep with four beautiful exercises in liquid soul; "Tell Me" tips its snapback at Robert Planet by way of lilting harps and organs that develop more presence as the track progresses. "In The World" places much more emphasis on the vocals as LaMeduza takes centre stage over an understated piano-tickled roll. "If I Need You" slaps us round the face and wakes us from our LaMeduza-induced reverie with some rugged amen, sweeping string and dusty sample action. Last but not least we hit "Einklang". Literally translating to harmony, it lives up to its name thanks to some weighty piano sounds and chord changes so strong they could sweep a hippo of their feet.
