Two tracks in four mixes make up this latest missive from Manchester's Paper Disco camp. 'Got To Be Real' isn't, despite the title, some quickly knocked-up Cheryl Lynn bootleg, but rather a sumptuous, mid-paced, strings-drenched groover that'd play well on soulful house and disco floors alike with its understated female vocal and classy, understated ivories, while Spanish nu-disco don James Rod provides an Italo-inspired makeover. The original version of 'I'm With You', meanwhile, is more your straight-up nu-disco workout to start with, before being given a bass-y refix from Andy Buchan that's got something of a Fon Studios kinda feel.
