Greek producer in Berlin (via Paris) KS French has recently upped his work rate, dropping a veritable skip full of re-edit EPs. This latest outing sees him deliver another quartet of sneaky, filter-happy, housed-up re-cuts of familiar disco favourites. As ever, there's plenty of tried-and-tested floorfillers - see the largely instrumental version of Gayle Adams' Paradise Garage classic "Lifesaver" (previously brilliantly edited by FLX1 a couple of years back), the Barry White-goes-disco house of "My Weakness" and the undulating disco-soul pulse of "Your Love Don't Come Easy" - as well as a couple of killer slow jams. Of these, it's "Kiss For My Love" (a rework of Shuggie Otis fave "Strawberry Letter 23") that hits home hardest.
