Second time around for Larry De Kat's Diks On Gruds EP, which first appeared on Chris Carrier's Adult Only imprint back in 2015. It remains one of the Dutch producer's strongest EPs, offering up a trio of sleazy deep house cuts for illicit after-parties and a fine bonus remix from Parisian stalwart Phil Weeks. Our pick of the bunch is probably the title track - a sparse, hypnotic, bass-heavy chunk of dub-fired deep house blessed with US style rhythmic bump - though Swag-style tech-house wiggler "Noodlez" and minimal house throb-job "Um?" are also inspired. As for Phil Weeks' remix of the title track, it's a suitably booming and tooled-up affair.
