After his well-received Full Circle LP back in 2010, steadily rising downtempo maestro Shigeto returns with a shimmering collection of mellow nuggets for his logical home at Ghostly International. There's plenty of pastoral elements to get you feeling all whimsical, from intricate layers of gossamer percussion to gently undulating synths. "Ann Arbor Part 3 & 4" especially shines with its slightly more prominent beat and sumptuous arpeggios of xylophones and other such dreamy instruments. For those contemplative moments, it doesn't come much more reflective than this.
