The Lokier duo team up with Jason Greer aka The Machine for this offbeat EP on Psychemagik's label. "White Room" is a slow-paced, swirling groove that sucks the listener in with its layered textures and low-slung bass. By contrast, "Stained Glass" sees the collaborators use hypnotic acid squiggles and tight electro drums - but this approach still achieves the same result. "Pearly Hate" is frostier and centres on paranoid vocal samples and pinprick tonal bleeps, while the closing track "Red Floor' ventures into the kind of dark disco territory that Giallo Disco inhabit, with horror riffs unfolding over an oppressive bass.Get new release alerts
