The Hotplates Recordings group has certainly delivered us something special here as they unleash the wizardry of Lord Jabu across two spicy new creations, kicking off with some serious heat on 'Formality'. The quirkiness of this one is what makes it special, as glitchy sounding pops combine with potent sub-pressure with some wicked energy. On the flip side to this we take in 'Ancient Mariner', a metallic system slap that combines subtle eastern scales with an array of lethal drum crunches to cause some real damage on any system we can hear it on!Get new release alerts
