Slow and steady wins the race, right? It should also win over that dancefloor of yours when it's as expertly crafted as this. As with all previous LTJ releases, "Funk Is On" is all about the groove and, indeed, the development thereof. New elements such as extra synth textures, vocal snippets and percussive tools introduce themselves slowly and politely as the track builds and builds with a sense of cool understated drama.
