If you think Macky Gee is about to get all deep and poignant with "Calm Before The Storm" think again: everything about this peaktime fire cut is loaded with energy, funk and dynamic ruthlessness. Drop this and we guarantee everyone will stop in their tracks. Elsewhere "Pick 'N' Mix" cuts through the noise with a caustically pinched riff, "Dat Ass" spits with a rampant, ruffled edge that drops into the sexiest chords imaginable on the breakdown while "Moomba Thong" gets all trippy with its instrumentation before hurtling into an anti-drop style heavily swung groove.
