Funk fans that have been searching for this rare LP (originals sell for around L200!) can now rejoice as Soul Brother are righteously re-releasing the 1977 album for everyone to enjoy. Madcliff, was essentially a one-man project of multi-instrumentalist Chris Hills (he co-wrote two tunes with Chico Waters). The album features raw, lo-fi versions of "I Like It" and "Goin' To The Disco", tracks that later made famous by The Players Association. Elsewhere "You Can Make The Change", as made popular by Keb Darge appears along with the tight and driving grooves of "It Takes A Little More".
What is Album Only?
Some artists and labels prefer certain tracks to be purchased as part of an entire release. These tracks cannot be purchased individually but are available to download as part of the release
