Gorgeous sound manipulators Maribou Sate have brought their artfully tranquil atmospheres to their first full-length LP. There's been a warm and excited buzz around this release, perhaps due to the pair's way with soundscapes, texture and emotional release, maybe also thanks to their collaborations with Pedestrian and Jono McLeery. The hazy glow that drapes each track with a softness most producers seek to erase gives a sweetness to their sound. Sometimes melancholy, sometimes uplifting, always an experience, this album is just a little bit of beauty.
