Marion Poncet hails from Rouqine, France and has knack for deep and dusty house sounds here; of the classic disco persuasion. With previous releases on the likes of La Chinerie, GETTRAUM and Rekids (under his more well-known Traumer alias) you know you're in good hands. The title track is the kind of blissful and blunted hip-hip inspired house that Berlin guys like Glenn Astro and Max Graef are known to push, while "Slow Menage" or "Gold Baby" are the kind of hypnotic yet soulful disco loops that are informed by classic DJ Sneak or anyone on Phil Weeks' Robsoul imprint: and we're down with that!
