It sounds like there have been some interesting experiments going on in labs across Europe if this split release is anything to go by. Markus Suckut is first up with "Sarin", a comparatively restrained, shuffling techno workout. Jesse Jakob picks up the pace on "Black Bells", where menacing riffs unfold over an angular rhythm. Pfirter uses a similar approach on "Angular Momentum", but his interpretation is much more severe as screeching sounds and heavy, thunder claps prevail. The most intense contribution of all comes from Charlton, whose "The Quantum Complex" is based on high-paced, steely rhythms and bursts of firing percussion.
