Review
When Quintessentials launched the Thank You Freaks series last year, it boasted about delivering "hot tracks from hot producers". There's certainly plenty of top tackle on this third installment of the series. Jamie Trench's "In Your What" is particularly attractive, thanks in no small part to the tactile brilliance of its bouncy, undulating synth bassline and subtle percussive builds. Also rather tasty is Jack Fell Down's contribution, "Covered", a surprisingly sparse chuck of US house revivalism with a 2013 twist. Best of all, though, is Anaxander's "Hold Me", an enveloping mix of saucer-eyed pads, tropical synth melodies, 909 beats and 303 acid lines.Get new release alerts
