Michael Klein has released on a slew of well-known labels, including Cocoon and Second State, and now he expands his catalogue to include Arkham Audio. The title track is a grimy affair, with dense drums and a rumbling bass providing the basis for tortured riffs and loose percussion. On "Red", Klein ups the tempo; powered by hissing hats and insistent snares, its angular rhythm is both potent and hypnotic. "105" is just as impactful; built on rough kicks, it resounds to layer upon layer of steely percussion. Label owner Cri De Coeur teams up with Erratum to deliver a slamming take on "105", while Dustin Zahn turns "Red" into a stripped back, propulsive workout.Get new release alerts
