This will either make you feel old or nonplussed but the original "Magic Carpet Ride" is now over 17 years old. With its distinctive vocal hook and spirited Latino horn lament, it still sounds unlike anything else to this day. But for added measure, Southern Fried have ensured it's kept up to date with a whole barrage of remixes that span from a deep-grooved percussive tribal workout (Marcus Knight remix) to, amazingly, a traditional dub version (Sona Vabos remix).
