Not one to lay low for too long, Mikal returns to Metalheadz. Don't be fooled by the sun-drenched artwork - If this selection proves anything, it's that this guy knows when to turn it up a notch. Packing nasty bouncing bass from the off in lead track "Status Low", there's a sense you'll never know where he's off to next. In the swaying bassy sexiness of "Killa Soundboy" and the blunted breaks of "Immaterial" you can hear progression and experimentation. "Clear", a collab with Nymfo has more bite than Jaws and bonus track "Strictly Rockers" is just madness. Pick up this EP. You deserve it.Get new release alerts
