Since first appearing on the deep house scene in 2005, Paulo Olarte has featured on a number of distinguished German labels - most notably Liebe*detail and Diynamic. The influence of the latter label is particularly obvious on "Mil Anos", his latest audio missive. It offers a version of the label's signature European deep house sound stripped back to its bare bones - all sinister atmospherics, hurried organs and loose, live-sounding drums.
