After a hiatus, Berlin trio Moderat - aka Modeselektor and Apparat - made a comeback in last year with MORE D4TA, their fourth LP. They decided to hand over the album's tracks to a diverse group of remixers who were encouraged to deconstruct the songs and expand upon the album's original aesthetic. "Fast Land" is reimagined as a seething industrial soundscape by veteran UK producer The Bug, Montreal synthpop chanteuse marie Davison also reinvents the track into a dystopian electro bass menace, while the ever impressive Braindance head Batu delivers his contorted left of centre take on bass music with his rendition of "Doom Hype" and Sherelle brings on the zeitgeist of mid-90s early jungle on her killer rework of "Neon Rats".
