Monotype tends to make dark, rolling cuts that emanate power with a distinct element of sophistication. That description applies well to his latest offering, a four-tracker on Double UV Recordings that brings some serious style to the table and begins with 'Bomboclat-Element', a wobbling pacer that swaggers about the range with a tangible sense of finesse. Next up is the title track, a techy bouncer with a big ol' snare drum and the rough-and-ready vibe to match, the combination of three turning this one into the highlight of the release.
