Last seen showcasing his wares on hyped, filter loving edit imprint Tropical Disco, Monsieur Van Pratt transfers to Mandrill Cuts for more floor-focused re-edit action. He predictably hits the mark straight away with "Keep On Dancin", a tidy, deliciously percussive revision of what sounds like an authentic 1970s disco-funk workout rich in sharp horn lines, spangled slap bass, pots and pans percussion and sweet male vocals. He applies a similar approach on "I'll Take You Everywhere", a rolling, delay-laden revision of a synth-laden disco-funk/boogie fusion cut that sounds like the kind of material being released by Los Angeles label Solar System at the start of the 1980s. It goes without saying that both reworks are primed and ready for peak-time disco dancefloors.
