Granada-based twosome Mordisco make their first appearance on historic Manchester label Paperdisco following previous outings on My Favourite Robot, Midnight Riot, NDYD Records and Spa in Disco. The Spanish duo kicks things off with "Musica De Baille", a bouncy, percussion and delay-rich slab of tropical nu-disco/chunky house fusion that rises and falls in all the right places. The duo's ability to craft slowly building, life-affirming goodness is further confirmed by second track "Nahual", where jangling piano riffs, swirling chords and sampled choral vocals triumphantly rise above a foreboding, shuffling house groove.
