Breakbeat Paradise continue their commendable services to ghetto funk freaks across the globe with this rather delicious four track from French funkateer Morlack. The lead piece, a pelvis thrusting rendition of Tower Of Power's '72 hit "You Got To Funkafize", sets the agenda with supreme squidgy bass and a groove that simply won't quit. "Party Squeezing" follows, and with it comes an enchanting slap bassline that should woo the most poe-faced of dancefloors. Elsewhere we get a little lively on the horns with "Champagne & Caviar" and "Lil Strange To You", a track that harbours a walking bassline that's so brutishly funky rumour has it Bootsy Collins' chopped off his ear when he listened to it on our site.Get new release alerts
