Here on the Good Times EP, Mr Absolutt tries something a little bit different. Apart from the title track, in which he slows down Chic for a warped but funky wooze-fest, he still sticks to his trademark 80s soul vibe. However with most of the tracks here he simply strips them down to their bare bones to reveal a sleek dancefloor gem hidden beneath. "Empatizer" is steady electro-disco mantra in the vein of Chicken Lips, "Everyday" takes Rock The Boat and reduces it to a melancholic Italo-disco wonder and finally "NuFunk Whooper" is a sparse Paradise Garage-style style stomp-a-long.
