MsDoS dominates the EP, going solo for the first track but then teaming up with Static and Dynamic. First up is "One Day" - an easygoing little piece, with shimmying vocal, the occasional clink of cymbals, distant bassline grumbling and nice, punchy breaks keeping things ticking over. The title track "Mr Gibbs" brings in the talents of Static for an uplifting slice of sunshine, all chiming piano keys, shimmying trumpets, breezy SFX and a calm, laidback vibe. Concluding cut "Rio Dreamin" with Dynamic pairs hollow, clapping beats with rolling percussion and some sultry melodies laid over top.Get new release alerts
