Mr Mau's Orbis Records; coming at you straight out of out of Belgium and continues on with its quest for the finest in hypnotic techno. This time recruiting NYC techno legend Steve Stoll and Northampton's shadowy Mslwte. ?E121? gallops violently through the darklands like a Headless Horseman. ?Insular Tone? is a great one; minimal and loopy techno with a generous serving of overdrive on the kick that works a treat. Then there's three versions of ?Derby? with the original, the pounding cyclical attitude of Steve Stoll's remix (complete with metallic 909 hiss) and then Mr Mau himself with his take which is a real highlight, actually. Bleepy and mysterious Millsian style business.
