Whenever we see Murder He Wrote return to Rhythm Athletic, we know we are likely to be in for a very enjoyable time, with this three track experience being no different whatsoever. We kick off with the joyous harmonic freedom we experience within 'Told You So' as Murder once again displays a solid sense of UKG arrangement, layering floating pad textures with intricate melodic slides and a jaw-dropping bassline, giving this one a massive yes from us right from the off. He sets the high quality bar and sticks to it next as the much more UK funky inspired percussive sweeps and choppy snare drives of 'Iso' up the intensity of the project almost immediately, especially when coupled with that looming bassline below. From here, the glittering melodic switches and breaks-infused rhythms of 'As If We Never' then push the bar out of the stratosphere as Murder closes out one of the most impressive three trackers of 2022 so far!Get new release alerts
