Dubsided has been the usual home for Nadastrom's output, the shady tech house head who has been delivering the goods over the last five years, but Soul Side feels like his natural home, a perfect ground for the mesmerising sonics of a house tune such as "Jupiter", most likely spawning its sounds from the mythical Roland synth. "Chivas" is our choice on here, though, and its rigged percussion pattern takes us to a territory that we very much love at the moment, an improvisational space jam for the deeper moments in a set, and a groove that can be enjoyed both off and on piste.
