Former Bent man and one-time DIY stalwart Nail Tolliday has been a busy boy since re-launching his deep house career last summer. After delivering two booming EPs for Sheffield's Shabby Doll crew, he returns to Robsoul for the third installment of his excellent A Block Trax series. "Together" is deep, positive and chugging, with clear disco influences amongst the classic East Midlands beats and cut-up samples. The "Reprise Dub" of the same tune takes it deeper, stripping out the samples to leave a hypnotic late night deep house jam. "Say What" doffs a cap to Derrick Carter style boompty sweatiness, while Mango nudges up the BPM in a tracky, Inland Knights style.Get new release alerts
