A new production outfit has jumped straight into the big league! Bossman Bryan Gee hasn't opted to blood them through smaller labels, and has instead snapped them up and thrown them straight in the big leagues with the mighty V. Little is known about Nazca Lines but much like their Peruvian namesake their creations and methods will be eluding researchers for years to come. Their debut kicks off (and when we say kicks off, we really mean it!) with "Meridian Arc" the straight stepper beat is a nod to V anthems of yesteryear like Krust's "Warhead". Droning, distorted bass tones make thisone for the gully heads. Watch out for the organ warming frequencies of that sub bass on the second drop. Second track "Words" opens with emotive spooked-out, space age atmospherics and some serious sonic scene building, which abruptly breaks into solid stepping beats and a bass line that might well have been developed during the cold war. We may not know much about Nazca Linez but what is clear is that they have many things to teach us!
