British retrovert, analogue gear freak and frequent KiNK collaborator Neville Watson is back, this time on Craig Richards' always surprising The Nothing Special. First track "The Watcher" sounds like early Kevin Saunderson with its massive hoover bass and tough beat backed by a huge vocal refrain; this track will tear the roof off! Next up is the Robert Hood style cyclical jam "Friends We Met Among The Stars" its hypnotic groove is as driving as it is infectious and the real highlight on here. Finally on the flip we have "Smacked Out On Smudge" a deep dirty acid jam with an absolute killer of a bassline that modulates and resonates all over the shop with a druggy, delay drenched monologue for added headrush potential.
