Tokyo's Nisennenmondai have been staples of the neo-krautrock movement ever since the late 1990's, and although they have appeared heavily on the excellent Smalltown Supersound, the emblematic On-U Sound feels like the perfect home for their new, and highly anticipated album. Although we used the term krautrock above, #NA actually delves into pseudo techno through tracks like #3 and even #4, to a certain extent, but whatever style the trio go for, it always manages to retain a characteristically dubbed-out tribal sound that sounds simply on-point. This definitely our album of the week, if not the month, and we urge you all to get buying pretty damn quick!
