Tokyo Dawn label chiefs Marc Wallowy and Fabien Schivre recruited Mowgan after hearing the producer's expansive Give Me Attention EP on Open Bar. Fittingly, this label debut is similarly epic in scale, with the producer fusing Afro-centric instrumentation and vocals (mostly provided by the honeyed tonsils of Capone Adama) with the languid warmth of classic deep house and plenty of subtle nods towards South African music of the 1980s. It's a blueprint that guarantees a string of highlights, including the dreamy bliss of closer "African Dream", the analogue bass-rich, head-in-the-clouds dancefloor shuffle of "Bring Me On" and the dub disco-fuelled Afro-house throb of "Atche Keke".
