As one of our favourite newer labels, Articulate have gone out and impressed again here as they bring forward this fantastic 6 track project from Nuaura. We kick off with the frankly incredible breakbeat soundscaping and melodic layerings of the title track 'Champion' before landing comfortably on the super experimental 'Enter The Room', packed with mysterious vocal slices and spacey pads. Next up, the sharp electronic leads and smooth subs of 'Eternity', followed closely by the final original 'Tension', which displays some masterful uses of breakbeats and bass texture. On remix duty, Ricin is on call for a lethal breaks refurbishment of 'Champion', whilst Pharaoh K gets busy with 'Enter The Room', spinning into a funky anthem with expressive percussion and sharp leads.
