Review

Having twisted and screwed us inside out on Grid just weeks ago, Oli Lewis returns (this time on Sub-Division) with more carnal chaos. 'Stock Photo' is anything but stock. All steppy and stripped back but littered with weird elements, it's one of a kind and sets the vibe for the whole EP. It leads to many other highlights over the six-track selection. 'Melatonin' is a grumpy Amoss style grizzler, 'Lekker' slows things down to a cool 160 while bassline dogs bark and strange things melt away in the background while 'Believe' sounds like something Blame would have served up back in the late 90s. What a selection, what a spread - this is genuinely innovative. Yummy.
