Out of the Basement are Steve Leggat and James Ellis, both players in Manchester's music scene. Now they've hooked up with the El Diablo Social Club boys to finally deliver two much sought after edits. Both these tunes have been floating around in various forms for a while, but now they've been spruced up for a 'proper' release. "Take Me With You" layers an old soul vocal over new punk-funky live instrumentation for a slick head nodder. "Brother's Dub" meanwhile, is a slinky slo-mo edit of the Brothers Johnson cover of Shuggie Otis anthem "Strawberry Letter 23".
