Nothing to do with the Strafe electro classic of the same name, instead 'Set It Off' is a chugging, midtempo slice of soul-infused house music, supplied in three mixes that vary mostly in their use of the vocals. The Original places the full male soul vocal atop a bed of crisp beats, hefty bass and a descending riff played on what sounds like a xylophone, while Version 2 pares back the use of the male vocal, letting the female BVs come further forward. But if that's still too much for you, then there's a Dub which is, unsurprisingly, vocal-free.Get new release alerts
