RVLTN is the debut single from the interestingly named Pineapple Pop, and offers a sweet, bold and delightfully summery fusion of styles that should appeal to those who like their house music bold, attractive, and capable of inspiring the raising of hands towards the heavens. Certainly, Pineapple Pop's original version is a kaleidoscopic affair, full of rave-influenced riffs, bustling UK bass, rolling house rhythms and all manner of cheeky samples. The accompanying remix package is good, too, with Bit Funk's glitchy, main room house roller and Maxin Lany's deeper, outsider house influenced effort both impressing. Best of all, though, is In Flagranti's rework, which turns the track into a disco-punk-meets-acid smasher in their inimitable style.Get new release alerts
