Founded in 2008, the US based Abducted imprint prides itself on releasing the darkest, duttiest D&B. Now QO steps up with two stormers that sum up the label's sound in a nutshell. The evocatively entitled "Crack Party" kicks things off with a bleepy melody, thudding drum kicks and whomping b-line. A computerized voice discussing the use of recreational drugs leads us into a dramatic drop, whereupon the ear-battering aural abuse begins. "Mechwarrior", the secret weapon, is menacing and marauding from the off, building a doom-laden, post-industrial soundscape with thunderous bass and glitchy, layered SFX.Get new release alerts
