Review

Emerging producer Rapoon presents a full length on Alessandro Tedeschi's Rome based label Glacial Movement. Just like the label's name might suggest: this is some very chilling and glacial ambient in the vein of Biosphere (think Sub Strata) and it is full of suspense and drama. We particularly enjoyed the desolate and hypnotic drones of "A Listening Ice" and "A Sky Beckons Down", the bittersweet symphonies of "A Prophecy Lies Under" and the twelve minute long closing epic "The Sky Dances In Green" which is the most fitting soundtrack to a brutal trek of endurance through the cold winds of the Arctic. Brilliant stuff!
