Rapossa has been on our dials for quite some time now, thanks to the artist's sleek and enchanting forms of Balearic dance music. We know, that is always too loose of a term to properly describe any type of music, but it most certainly ticks all the Cafe Del Mar boxes. The opening "Feathers" slaps down a slow, grainy drum machine beat that's woven beautifully into deep and mystical Eastern sounds, while "Theta Waves" subtly shifts into a more glitchy, house-centric sort of experiment. "Karma", on the other hand, is a classic slice of percussive tribalism for the early hours, and "Zaarin" reshuffles the beat down to a stumbling, off-kilter flex that sits more in line with the nu-jazz charts. Recommended!
