Given the title, it's unsurprising to find Bristol-based Redlight celebrating all things 1990s on "9TS (90s Baby)". While the strangely robotic female vocal urges punters to "dance like it's 1990" and lists things designed to ensure flashbacks for those old enough to remember ("Biggie Smalls, Versace shades, Brooklyn Zoo, DJ Randall on the ones and twos"), the backing track seems to be doffing a cap to mid-90s UK garage, albeit with a bassline that could have come from an early '90s bleep techno record. Redlight is, of course, a past master at this kind of anthem-like bass revivalism, and "9Ts (90s Baby)" has all the makings of a big dancefloor hit - particularly amongst those who were barely in nappies back in 1990.
